Magdalena Walczak

BIOLOGY

I teach biology at Da Vinci’s International Schools in IB MYP and DP. I am a veterinarian, I graduated from the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław and the Universidad de Córdoba.

Teaching is my passion. I started my career in 2014, teaching biology at St. Agnes School in India as part of the IIT Kharagpur Global Citizen Development Programme.

Outside of school I am involved in humanitarian aid and wildlife conservation projects.

Aleksandra Pollap

CHEMISTRY

I have a PhD in Chemistry from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

At Da Vinci’s International Schools I teach chemistry in the IB MYP and DP, I am also a homeroom teacher of the 3rd HS.

I am also a lecturer in Forensic Chemistry at the Children’s University, and my passions are crime books, culture and language of Spain, cooking, make-up and cats.

Maria Maciejowska

PHYSICS

At Da Vinci’s International Schools I teach physics. I graduated from Sheffield University where I studied physics and astrophysics. I also went on an exchange for a year to the University of Waterloo. I am currently studying Environmental Protection and Management at the Jagiellonian University. That subject is an extension of my long term efforts as a climate and environmental activist. In my free time I enjoy rock climbing and travel, to faraway places and those nearby.

Paweł Dębakowski

COMPUTER SCIENCE

I am with Da Vinci’s as a CS Teacher. My professional interests are data analytics, Ecommerce, and modern psychology.

I like spending my spare time outdoors, I do water-sports.
