Many Parents and Students are asking themselves whether the International Baccalaureate is easier or more difficult than the Polish one?
It is certainly… different. Before making a decision, it is a good idea to think about your own interests and the academic and life goals you are pursuing, and to consider whether you will study in Poland or abroad.
IB DP at Da Vinci’s High School
The IB DP baccalaureate programme at Da Vinci’s High School gives students a lot of freedom to choose subjects that interest them, facilitates the continuation of international education, and teaches valuable and practical life skills.
It is an excellent choice for Students who are motivated to challenge themselves academically and personally.
High school students who have taken on this challenge are supported at Da Vinci’s High School by perfectly qualified, specially trained DP teachers.
IB Diploma Programme includes:
- Six subject groups through which Students arrange their own individual educational path leading to the IB diploma. These groups include: languages, sciences, social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, mathematics and fine arts.
- 3 mandatory components (unique to the IB!), the so-called DP Core, which includes:
- Theory of Knowledge (TOK): a course that encourages students to think critically about knowledge;
- Extended Essay (EE): research works of up to 4,000 words on a topic chosen by the student;
- Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS): a project that encourages Students to engage in creative activities, physical activity and voluntary service.
